Indian junior Women’s team brought glory for the Nation by winning the first edition of U19 T20WC held in South Africa. Now the whole Country is expecting same result from our senior women’s team also. It will be very tough task for Harmanpreet and co. but every cricket fan in India is now hopeful of Women in Blue. If the girls able to do this, then this will be the 1st ICC Trophy for Women’s senior team. So we can expect a solid performance from our side.

This WC is also going to be fun as, the Women’s Premier League (WPL), which is going to be start from this year onwards in India, is just after the WC. And player auction for this season is on 13th February, just two days after starting of WC. So this will boost the energy for the players and they will try to impress the franchises, although there will few games before the auction.

Playing WC for your country is different feeling all-together, and players will be very excited for this opportunity. Yes, they will be excited for the auction happening in Mumbai on 13th but the motivation will be at the highest level for them to lift the trophy for their Nation. Indian team have come closer to that Champions title, but somehow missed that in recent years. But at the moment each one in the team as well as fans sitting at home hopeful of that huge success.

All the best to each teams. Especially our team India…
